Log 47. Myrtle downer log. An old log recovered from a previously harvested forest. The butt end is mostly pithy, but it is more solid at the head end. There is significant machine damage at the head end, as the photos show. Should yield some useful timber. Length 4.0m, butt diameter 88 cm, head diameter 76 cm, volume 2.11 m3, weight about 2320 kg.
