Log 41. Blackwood log. There is good colour at both ends. There is some radial splitting at the butt, and a significant inclusion at the head. There is surface processor damage along the log, and some spiral grain apparent on the surface. Otherwise it is a good, solid log. Length 4.7 m, butt diameter 53 cm, head diameter 45 cm, volume 0.89 m3, weight about 980 kg.
