Log 1. Sassafras log. A solid, fresh log showing black heart at the butt. Many limbs and bumps and a twin head as shown by the photos. Length 3.9m, butt diameter 51cm, heads 37cm and 29cm, volume 0.54 m3, weight about 600kg.
