Log 29, Huon pine craft wood. A craft wood log salvaged from residues on a traditional harvest area south of Strahan. It appears relatively solid but has a few holes and taper. Length 2.9 metres, butt diameter 40 cm but adjusted to 30 cm, head diameter 22 cm, volume about 0.20 cubic metres, weight about 150 kg. IST Geeveston could mill this log to order on their Woodmizer bandsaw mill at $220 per hour; the timber and offcuts can be collected or strapped onto a pallet base for delivery to an Australian address.
