It is solid and could be milled into boards, squares or docked into turning blanks with a chainsaw. Sun cracks slightly affect the sapwood but it contains a useful quantity of timber. Length 4.9 metres, butt end 65 cm x 45 cm thick, head end 50 cm x 20 cm thick, volume about 0.4 cubic metres, weight about 550 kg.
