Log 17, Blackwood. A recently harvested log, large diameter, dark wood colour, straight but angular / fluted shape, no limbs. It has sun cracks, a shallow dry scar visible at the butt end with a little unsound wood but is still a good quality log likely to produce large clear boards, squares or slabs. No visible pin hole borers. Length 3.0 metres, butt diameter 63 cm, head diameter 56 cm, volume 0.82 cubic metres, weight about 825 kg.
