Sassafras - Black heart - 29/32 logs offered in the January 2008 tender were sold. The range of log volumes (m3 = cubic metre) was from 0.17 to 1.48 m3 and the range of prices accepted per m3 was from $70 - $468 per m3 with an average price of $208 per m3.
Blackwood - 5/6 logs offered in the January 2008 tender were sold. The range of log volumes was from 0.71 - 1.06 m3 and the range of prices per m3 accepted was from $128 - $380 per m3 with an average price of $302 per m3.
Myrtle - 7/14 logs offered in the January 2008 tender were sold. The range of log volumes was from 0.87 - 2.1 m3 and the range of prices per m3 accepted was from $100 - $310 per m3 with an average price of $182 per m3.
Eucalypt Burl - the large stringybark burl sold for almost $1.10 per kg and will produce high quality burl material.
