Our Musk story

Island Specialty Timbers (IST) Geeveston has recently salvaged some musk logs with root burls from a Sustainable Timber Tasmania (STT) eucalypt harvesting operation in the Derwent Valley.

Derwent Park

The southern field office of Sustainable Timber Tasmania (STT) at Building 2, 26 Lampton Avenue near the Brooker Highway, has a small range of seasoned, dressed specialty timbers processed by IST Geeveston. 

Due to limited staff the office is not always open so please contact Rebecca in advance on 03 6235 8100, to discuss their stock and your requirements.

Tasmania’s specialty timber as logs, including Huon pine craft logs, burls and sawn timber, (green & kiln dried). Milling, seasoning and timber services are also available.

Custom sawmilling, kiln drying, and timber machining services for hire.
